How much toilet paper should I leave for guests?

Start with one roll per four guest-nights, plus one spare per bathroom, rounded up. This calculator always allows at least two rolls per bathroom, including at the Economy level. Roll sizes and guest habits vary, so use your actual consumption to refine your plan.

    What changes between stocking levels?

Economy uses 0.8× the base estimate, Standard uses 1×, and Generous uses 1.25×. Whole items are rounded up after scaling. Toilet paper, paper towel, trash bag, and guest laundry minimums stay in place. At small quantities, two levels can produce the same result.

    How are monthly supplies calculated?

Each per-stay quantity is multiplied by your bookings per month. This budgets the starter supply for every booking, so it may exceed actual consumption if guests leave unused items. Deduct usable stock you already have before buying. For one property, check that nights per stay times bookings fits your available nights.

What assumptions are used for amenities and toiletries?

Dishwasher pods: one per night plus one spare. Guest laundry pods: half the number of nights, rounded up, with a minimum of two; these do not include turnover laundry. Coffee: one serving per guest-night. Tea: half a serving per guest-night. Toiletries: 10 ml of shampoo, 10 ml of body wash, and 5 ml of conditioner per guest-night, shown separately. These are editable planning assumptions, not measured consumption.

Trash bags start at one plus half the number of nights, with half an extra bag for each guest above four, rounded up to at least two. All enabled supplies use your chosen stocking multiplier. Toiletry volumes are rounded up to the next 10 ml.
